The media reported that after the end of the Champions League match between Barcelona and Benfica, a brawl broke out in the underground areas, Tengri Sport reports.
The match of the seventh round of the general stage of the Champions League ended with a productive comeback of the Catalans . Losing during the match 1:3 and 2:4, Barcelona managed to equalize the score and snatch the victory.
After Rafinha scored the winner in the 96th minute, Benfica players rushed to the referee with protests: they claimed that the Catalans had broken the rules before the goal. The referee watched the video replay and upheld the decision, and the Brazilian forward of the Portuguese Artur Cabral was awarded a red card for too much emotion.
After the match, Rafinha was asked about the brawl and he confirmed that there was an unpleasant situation in the tunnel.
It should be noted that thanks to the 4:5 victory, Barcelona retained second place in the overall Champions League standings. The team guaranteed its entry into the playoffs in the sixth round.
